We’re excited to join the 2027 Riley Blake Designs Block Challenge! 🧵

If you love trying new quilt blocks, sewing along with other quilters, and watching a quilt come together one block at a time, this is such a fun project to join.

The Riley Blake Designs Block Challenge is a sew along featuring a collection of quilt blocks released throughout the challenge. Follow along, make each block as it is released, and by the end you’ll have a beautiful sampler quilt filled with different blocks, techniques, and lots of personality!

Gardner Designs is offering two fabric options for the 2027 Block Challenge:

How the Block Challenge Works

Throughout the challenge, Riley Blake Designs will release new block patterns for you to sew. You can work at your own pace or keep up as each new block is released.

And the best part? You won’t be sewing alone!

We’ll be following along at Gardner Designs, sharing our progress, talking about the new blocks, and helping our local sewing community work through the challenge together.

Whether you’re an experienced quilter or you’re ready to stretch your skills and try something new, this is a great project to take on for 2027.
